Enjoy your ski vacation without the hassle of driving thanks to our popular in-house service! Our house taxi is at your disposal, conveniently taking you to the Riesneralm cable car or the Magic Snow ski school. After an exciting day on the slopes, you can even ski directly back to the house!
Skiing & Snowboarding in the Riesneralm Ski Resort
The Riesneralm ski resort proudly holds the international piste quality seal. With four valley runs, each offering a vertical drop of 900 meters, and a total of 32 kilometers of slopes (15 km blue, 14 km red, and 3 km black), there's suitable terrain for every skier.
Experience magnificent off-piste powder slopes and utilize modern lifts such as the six-seater and four-seater chairlifts. A permanent race course with Ski-Movie adds extra excitement and entertainment.

1.Austrian Children's Ski Swing
The largest children's ski swing in Austria offers endless fun with 5 different runs:
- 2 magic carpets,
- 1 conveyor belt,
- 1 drag lift for easy ascent.
Exciting attractions such as a wave course, a playhouse, and an adventure course provide variety and entertainment.
Top Ski School Magic Snow
The ski school center at the Austrian Children's Ski Swing offers daily ski and snowboard courses for children and beginners.
Sport Scherz
Located at the base station of Riesneralm, Sport Scherz offers ski rental, ski service, sports equipment, and a mini-market.
Cross-Country Skiing:
Explore the cross-country ski trails directly from the house in just 3 minutes:
Hinterwald Trail: This 8 km trail leads over snow-covered meadows, small forests, and along babbling brooks to the far end of the valley. The difficulty level is easy, and you can choose between classic technique and skating style.
Vorderwald Trail: This 7 km trail offers a scenic route without strenuous climbs. Again, you have the option to choose between classic technique and skating.

Ski Touring:
Explore our extensive ski touring area with dreamy powder slopes, including well-known peaks such as Hahnalpl, Hochwart, Schwarzkarspitz, Hochweberspitz, and many more. From our house, you can head directly to touring destinations such as Riesnerkrispen via Mörsbachtal, Großer Bärneck, or Lämmertörlkopf.
Night Tours and Illuminated Slopes:
Every Friday from 5:00 PM onwards, you have the opportunity to embark on a night tour on the illuminated slopes of Riesneralm. Enjoy the special atmosphere and the silence of the snow-covered mountains during an evening ski tour to Hochsitz.

Snowshoeing and Winter Hiking:
When the mountain is blanketed in snow, it invites exploration on foot. Enjoy the simplicity of walking, marvel at the idyllic winter landscape, and savor every moment.
Sledding:
From the house, there is an approximately one-hour ascent to Mörsbachwirt Theo, where you can rent sleds. Alternatively, you can also arrange for pickup with the sled taxi.
